Doctorate Defense Tobias Langer

On March 7, Tobias Langer successfully defended his dissertation Software-based Memory Consistency Mechanisms for Non-Coherent Many-Core Systems, which he wrote as part of the Transregional Collaborative Research Center Invasive Computing. In addition to his doctoral supervisor Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Schröder-Preikschat, Prof. Dr. Jörg Nolte from the BTU Cottbus and Prof. Dr. Georg Fischer from the Institute for Electronics Engineering members of the examination committee, which was chaired by Prof. Dr. Jürgen Teich (Chair of Computer Science 12).

Afterwards, this success was duly celebrated with family, friends and former and current colleagues, and he was presented with a doctoral hat filled with anecdotes from his time at the chair.
