Promotion Phillip Raffeck
On 22nd September 2025, Phillip Raffeck successfully defended his dissertation with the title Predictable Execution for Device-Bound Embedded Systems with Intermittent Power. Dr. Peter Wägemann had the honor of being the doctoral supervison for the first time. The examination board, chaired by Prof. Dr. Jürgen Teich (Lehrstuhl für Informatik 12), also included Prof. Dr. Michael Engel from the Universität Bamberg and Prof. Dr. Georg Fischer from the chair of technical electronics.
After successfully passing the exam, there was a big celebration with family, friends, and former and current colleagues, during which a creatively designed doctoral hat was handed over as a memento of his time at the chair.
