At the beginning of the lecture-free period, the staff of the two chairs of Computer Science 4 and 16 met for a joint retreat at Drübeck Abbey from February 13 to 15.
There, the participants presented their current research work, looked back on the progress in the past year and collected suggestions and ideas for the future direction.
Furthermore, there was also a focus on teaching, for which a lot of resources have been spent in the past years. In a lively exchange, possibilities for improving the situation without affecting teaching quality were discussed, which are to be established in the coming semesters.
The meeting was rounded off by social gatherings in the evening as well as hikes in the Harz Mountains in excellent spring weather.
