Signe Schwarz-Rüsch successfully defended her dissertation Blockchain-Based Architectures for Decentralized Data Access. Before joining the i4, Signe worked as research assistant at the Institute of Operating Systems and Computer Networks at the TU Braunschweig.

Besides her doctoral supervisor Prof. Dr.-Ing. Rüdiger Kapitza, Dr. Sonia Ben Mokhtar from Lyon and Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Marion Merklein from the Institute of Manufacuturing Technology were members of the examination committee, which was chaired by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Felix Freiling from the Chair of Computer Science 1.

This success was then duly celebrated – in this context, Signe was also presented with her doctoral hat, which shows Signe’s most important stations from the IBR & i4 in recent years. The success was celebrated in the evening over dinner at Hempels Burger.

Congratulations!
