Last week, from May 11 to 14, 2026, CPS-IoT Week took place in Saint-Malo, featuring SenSys, RTAS, ICCPS/HSCC, as well as several workshops and tutorials. Our department was represented with two presentations:
  • Eva Dengler presented her doctoral thesis topic, “Trading Off Energy Demand and Timeliness in Embedded Devices,” as part of the PhD Forum. During the poster session, she presented her research and engaged in many interesting discussions.
  • Max Seidler presented the paper Wasm-WCET: Worst-Case Execution-Time Analysis of WebAssembly Modules on Updatable Resource-Constrained Embedded Devices (Maximilian Seidler, Martin Michelis, Peter Wägemann, Rüdiger Kapitza) at RTAS. This work focuses on predicting the worst-case execution time of WebAssembly programs on the executing platform itself, which significantly improves the updating of such devices.
