This year’s Spring Meeting of the GI working group “Operating Systems” took place in Düsseldorf on February 26 and 27. This year’s meeting was held under the theme “Operating Systems in Transition?”. Our chair presented two talks on the topics of real-time systems and distributed systems:
  • Stefan Pfahler presented his master’s thesis titled “Towards Energy-Aware Byzantine Fault-Tolerant DAG-Based Consensus”.
  • Tobias Häberlein presented his work, which was also published as part of RTSS 2025, titled “WatwaOS: A Framework for Worst-Case-Aware Tailoring and Whole-System Analysis of Energy-Constrained Real-Time Systems”.
