Research and Theses
I am interested in automatic compartmentalization of Rust software. Compartmentalization is the combination of partitioning of software and enforcment of thereby introduced boundaries via an isolation mechanism. We leverage strong typing and ergonomic code synthesis via proc-macros over C/C++, the traditional systems programming languages, to push the boundaries of automatic compartmentalization. I offer various topics in both partitioning and boundary enforcement. Concrete topics come up and are cancelled too frequently to keep an up to date list on this site.
